Exterior
In order to maintain the original grandeur of this historic building, each renovation was carefully carried out – selecting only the finest materials. Copper and gray green slate were chosen for the roof and flashing, the exterior masonry was repointed, and solid wood doors were custom built with the beaded matchstick design. Commercial grade, insulated, 1” glass windows were custom fit and an irrigation system was installed for easy maintenance of the meticulous landscaping.

Interiors
Each residence was designed to maximize the space, while preserving the character of this unique structure. But, equal care was given to the things that one cannot see upon inspecting the homes - structural integrity and sound attenuation, for instance, were very important priorities. Walls and floors between the residences were designed utilizing air gaps, steel studs and  fire resistant acoustical batts for sound deadening and insulation. Window sills are topped with 3/4 “ stone. Prefinished hardwood floors were laid throughout, except in laundry and bath areas where tile and marble were used. Interior doors are solid masonite, surrounded by poplar casings. Poplar crown moldings adorn the ceilings.

Kitchens
Granite counters and Dynasty wood cabinets are joined by Kohler sinks and faucets in the kitchens. Stainless steel appliances offer a modern accent to the more classic design of the cabinets – with gas range or induction tops, electric wall ovens, microwave convection oven, refrigerator and under counter dishwasher.
 
Baths
The luxurious master bath features polished chrome fixtures by Kohler, a bathing tub, tiled shower with glass enclosure, marble or ceramic floor and Natural Stone top with 2 sinks.
